Current Openings:

Planner – Collaborative Manager

Human Services of Faribault & Martin Counties seeks candidates for NEW grant-funded position.  This Collaborative Manager will lead public health regional partners in a strategic planning process to identify opportunities for collaboration between local public health departments and Minnesota State University-Mankato.  Oversee development and ongoing function of regional public health collaborative meetings.  Coordinate internships and course work opportunities between MSU-Mankato faculty and local public health departments.  Coordinate grant budget, work plan, and reporting. 

Minimum Qualifications:  College graduation with a master’s degree in public health or closely related field, and one year of experience working within public health with related experience with some responsibility for planning or administrative functions, such as coordinating and/or planning community programming for special populations.  OR Bachelor’s degree in public health or closely related field and three years of experience working within public health with related experience with some responsibility for planning or administrative functions, such as coordinating and/or planning community programming for special populations.

Entry Salary:  $29.28/hour with competitive benefits.

Case Aide – Social Services Intake Specialist

This very important position is often the first contact a community member will make to our Agency.  The Intake Specialist will appropriately address needs by responding to walk-ins and phone inquiries; assisting clients to make decisions about the type of assistance that will meet their long-range goals, and assisting community and family members to seek help for a loved one.  The Specialist will also act as a key contact to other Agency staff regarding resources available in our communities.  Duties include:  Provide intake services for behavioral health, social services, public health, and financial assistance programs.  This includes data entry into multiple computer systems.  Make provider and community agency contacts as needed and directed to establish relationships and maintain up to date resource directory.  Bilingual (English/Spanish) highly valued.

Entry Salary:  $19.11/hour

Minimum Qualifications:  A high school degree, or the equivalent, and in addition, either (1) three years of clerical experience and/or experience working with the public; or (2) two years of clerical experience in a public welfare/human service agency; or (3) two years of experience as a Community Service Aide or similar experience in a private non-profit or other public agency; and (4) two years of study at an accredited two or four-year collect with emphasis in the behavioral sciences, business, or closely related subjects (at least 23 quarter credits or 16 semester credits.

MENTAL HEALTH NURSE

Join our Behavioral Health team to provide nursing expertise in the assessment and delivery of care to promote consumer independence and community integration.  This position coordinates and assists consumers in accessing psychiatric services via telehealth, provides nursing expertise in the delivery of health and wellness education, and provides medication monitoring and other activities in the promotion of consumer recovery.  The ideal candidate will have high levels of compassion, empathy, and integrity, as well as a passion for working with and supporting adults who are struggling.  This position will be based out of our Blue Earth, MN office but will serve clients throughout both Faribault and Martin Counties

Entry Salary 2024 is $29.28/hour. 

Minimum Qualifications:  Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Minnesota.  Bilingual (English-Spanish) highly valued.
