ACCOUNTING TECHNICIAN:
Human Services of Faribault & Martin Counties is seeking applicants to join the Business Office team. Account Techs will work in a variety of accounting duties including payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and collections system as well as Department specific systems for claiming and maintaining client files.
Minimum qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent and two years of experience involving a combination of office support and bookkeeping responsibilities. College coursework may be substituted for experience. Must pass written examination.

CHILD SUPPORT OFFICER
Join our Child Support team to establish, modify, and enforce child support court orders. Under general supervision, perform paralegal functions related to the establishment and enforcement of child support orders for public assistance and non-public assistance clients; locate absent parents; interview mothers and alleged fathers to establish paternity; work closely with the county attorney, judges, court administrators, child support magistrates, local attorneys, income maintenance and social service staff, employers and others; testify in court proceedings; and maintain all necessary and legal documentation.
Minimum Qualifications: Two years of experience as a Child Support Enforcement Aide or Collections Officer with responsibility for carrying out a part of child support collections. OR Three years of experience in work related to child support collections in a county social services agency. OR Three years of experience as an Eligibility Worker in a public human services agency. OR Four years of experience in collections work outside of county social services setting. OR Three years of college with emphasis in criminal justice, public administration, business administration, paralegal, social work, psychology, sociology, or other related human services field.
2023 Entry Salary: $21.51/hour

CHILD PROTECTION SPECIALIST/FAMILY PRESERVATION WORKER

OR A bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university with a major in any field and one year of experience as a social worker in a public or private social services agency. Bilingual (English/Spanish) highly valued.

CASE AIDE – WAIVER SERVICES
Work with a team of Home and Community-Based Services Waiver Case Managers providing administrative activities related to waiver case management services. This includes data entry into multiple computer systems. Make provider and community agency contacts as needed and directed by the case managers. Candidates must be highly organized with excellent communication skills.
Minimum Qualifications: High school degree, or the equivalent, and in addition, either: 1) three years of clerical experience and/or experience working with the public; or 2) two years of clerical experience in a public welfare/human service agency; or 3) two years of experience as a Community Service Aide or similar experience in a private non-profit or other public agency; or 4) two years of study at an accredited two or four-year college with emphasis in the behavioral sciences, business, or closely related subjects (at least 23 quarter credits or 16 semester credits). Must pass written exam.
Starting Salary: $18.37/hour

PUBLIC HEALTH NURSE/SCHOOL NURSE
Join our Family Health Unit providing school nursing services to students and families enrolled at Arise Academy and Granada Huntley East Chain School District. Work in collaboration with the Emergency Preparedness Coordinator in administering and coordinating Public Health Emergency Preparedness (PHEP) activities. Respond to infectious disease situations within Faribault & Martin Counties, such as COVID-19 and Tuberculosis outbreaks. Provide the Women, Infant, Children (WIC) program to eligible residents in Faribault & Martin Counties.
Minimum Qualifications: Certification as a public health nurse in Minnesota and current licensure as a registered nurse in Minnesota. Ability to obtain School Nursing License from Minnesota Department of Education.
