CHILD PROTECTION SPECIALIST/FAMILY PRESERVATION WORKER: Human Services of Faribault & Martin Counties seeks applicants for three vacant positions.
Minimum Qualifications of Education and Experience: A bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university with a major in social work, psychology, sociology or closely related field such as corrections and criminal justice. OR A bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university with a major in any field and one year of experience as a social worker in a public or private social services agency. Bi-lingual (Spanish-English) highly valued.

(1) Child Protection Investigator located in Martin County Center (Fairmont, MN). Duties include: To provide Investigative Services when there are allegations of maltreatment of children so that determinations of maltreatment and the need for services can be made. To provide Family Assessment response when there are allegations of maltreatment of children to determine whether a family needs service.
(2) Family Preservation Worker located in Faribault County Center (Blue Earth, MN). Duties include: To provide ongoing case management for open child protection/child welfare cases to prevent out of home placement. To provide case management to reunite children who have been placed back with their parent.
(3) Developmental Disabilities Case Manager located in Faribault County Center (Blue Earth, MN). Duties include: To assess the needs of developmentally disabled individuals and arrange for provision of services. To provide case management for open developmental disabilities cases.
PUBLIC HEALTH NURSE/HEALTHY FAMILIES HOME VISITOR: Human Services of Faribault & Martin Counties seeks applicants for an opening located in our Faribault County Human Services Center (Blue Earth, MN). Duties: Under the direct supervision of the Program Supervisor, is responsible for improving the home environment, supporting physical and mental well-being of children in over-burdened families. Building on family strengths. Assists in strengthening the parent-child relationship through improving parenting skills.
Minimum Qualifications: Certification as a public health nurse in Minnesota and current licensure as a registered nurse in Minnesota.
Entry Salary: $24.30/hour. Competitive benefits. Office Hours: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.

ACCOUNTING TECHNICIAN: Human Services of Faribault & Martin Counties seeks applicants for an opening vacancy in our Business Office (Fairmont, MN). Duties: Perform accounts receivable and accounts payable functions via IFS (Integrated Financial System) general ledger system. Submit claims for case management billing and reimbursement of payments disbursed from the agency. Review client files, enter client screening documents and service agreements. Process accounting functions using State computer systems for Income Maintenance and Community Health. Perform accounting functions related to the preparation, recording and issuance of the Social Welfare Trust Fund. Prepare and submit reports for Income Maintenance and Community Health Units. Minimum qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent and two years of experience involving a combination of office support and bookkeeping responsibilities. College coursework may be substituted for experience. Must pass written examination. Salary: $15.56/hour
