Vaccination work as of 2/20/21:
- Faribault County: 1,848 individuals have received at least their first vaccination for COVID-19. 12% of the total population has received at least 1 dose. 33% of the population of people age 65+ have received vaccinations.
- Martin County: 2,773 individuals have received at least their first vaccination for COVID-19. 12% of the population has received at least 1 dose. 34.7% of the population of people age 65+ have received vaccinations.
- Community Health & Human Services did not receive any vaccine last week as a result of the winter weather situation impacting the southern half of the U.S. where vaccine storage facilities are located. All appointments for last week are being rescheduled for this week.
- Mayo Clinic Health System Fairmont received 354 1st dose allocation last week.
- United Hospital District did not receive any vaccine last week as a result of the winter weather situation impacting the southern half of the U.S. where vaccine storage facilities are located. All appointments for last week are being rescheduled for this week.
- Dulcimer Medical Center was not scheduled to receive any doses last week.
Plan for week of 2/21:
- Community Health & Human Services is scheduled to receive 100 1st doses this week. The 100 doses are allocated specifically to E-12/childcare sector. The agency will also receive the 200 1st doses that were due to arrive last week this week, 100 for the E-12/childcare sectors and 100 for the 1A priority population and 65+ population. Appointments are being scheduled for late this week.
- Mayo Clinic Health System Fairmont is scheduled to receive 420 1st doses for this week for the 75+ population. MCHS-Fairmont will reach out to patients when it's time to schedule an appointment. Appointments fill up quickly as vaccine supply continues to be extremely limited.
- United Hospital District is scheduled to receive 100 1st doses this week for the 65+ population. UHD will reach out to patients when it's time to schedule an appointment. Appointments fill up quickly as vaccine supply continues to be extremely limited. UDH will receive the 100 doses they were scheduled to receive last week and will be making appointments this week.
- Dulcimer Medical Center is scheduled to receive 100 1st doses this week for the 65+ population. Dulcimer will reach out to patients when it's time to schedule an appointment. Appointments fill up quickly as vaccine supply continues to be extremely limited.
On 2/25/21 the State of Minnesota announced the rollout of a vaccine prioritization plan for individuals who are at highest risk for complications with COVID-19, as well as for front line essential workers. The goal is to begin vaccinating the general community in summer of 2021. The following graphic provides a timeline as well as detail about who will qualify for vaccinations. The state plans to move into the next priority group when 70% of those over age 65 have received their vaccination.
