Adult Services
      Conducts investigations of adult abuse and neglect.
Completes nursing home preadmission screenings and planning for in-home services.

Chemical Dependency Services
      Assesses individuals with problems due to alcohol or drug use/abuse and makes recommendations for treatment.
Provides education regarding affects of alcohol and drugs.
Provides funding for treatment.

Child Support Enforcement
      Collects child support payments from absent parents.
Assists in establishing paternity for children.

Children and Family Services
      Provides services to families in their homes so that they can stay together.
Assesses allegations of child neglect, physical and sexual abuse.

Community Health Services
      Provides services to individuals, families, and groups to promote good health through education, screenings, immunizations, and prevention services.
Provides assistance to families with newborns.
Work with our community partners to prepare for public health emergencies.

Day Care Services
      Assists families in need of funding for child care.

Developmental Disabilities Services
      Provides services to persons with developmental disabilities to help them achieve independence, productivity, and community integration.

Family Service Collaborative
      Designed through interagency partnerships to address the development, educational, health, and family-related needs of children and youth.

Financial Assistance Services
      Determine individual/family eligibility for: Minnesota Family Investment Program (MFIP), Emergency Assistance, Food Stamps, General Assistance, Minnesota Supplemental Aid (MSA), General Assistance Medical Care (GAMC), and Medical Assistance (MA), including Prepaid Medical Assistance (PMAP).

Fraud Enforcement
      Investigates allegations of intentional withholding, concealing, or misrepresenting information which affects financial grant eligibility or amount of payment.

Licensing Services
      Conducts licensing studies for day care, foster care, and adult foster care.
Conducts inspections of and licensing for food, beverage, and lodging establishments.

Mental Health Services
      Provides services to children with severe emotional disturbance.
Provides services to adults with serious and persistent mental illness.
Provides funding for outpatient counseling, allowing individuals their choice or private therapist.
